How do I deal with autistic burnout/meltdown/shutdown when cooking?

Stay healthy and you will recover from the meltdown as i call them. If you dont keep hydrated and well fed you wont recover fir a lot longer and that will have a knock on effect. Stay safe you will get through it alwqys. Learn a coping strategy no matter what it may be if iylt helps you and works for you to help you recover then do it without question..we are all different. Find your own sfe haven and use it well. Feel safe and stay safe always. It helps with the cause.
I get my supplies reay for 3 days of hiding in my bedroom away from Everything and all nouse and lught. I sleep i eat i go to the toilet i am truly exhausted when this happens. Emotionally im broken i ache from sobbing about things a neurotypical would laugh off. I feel so down i dont want to wake up. Im in pain physically and dont know why. I cant thinks at all so i put myself in a 3 day recovery mechanism. As long as ive everything to keep myseld fed hydrated my meds and comforts with me i stay there and usually 3 days is enough. I wont speak to anyone about this i hide it. Im 52! You would be forgiven if you thought i was 14. This is life with Asd Adhd and other light and noise sensetivity with agrophobia.
